hiGGs3 Manifesto
Permanence is merely matter's prejudice.
We are hiGGs3 — an artistic group dedicated to exploring the boundary between particle and gesture, between field and form, between presence and probability. We create boson art: a new direction of ephemeral sculpture at the quantum level.
Our medium is Fluctuation Tremor Event. The passage of energy through a field, before it is named an object.
Boson art does not represent the world. It allows the world to momentarily reveal its own structure.
A sculpture may exist for a fraction of a second, in a system of dependencies, in the tension between detector, observer, and void. It may be a trace of interaction, a shadow of decay, a possibility that managed to exist before it was lost.
We reject the cult of the object! We reject museum stability! We reject the fetish of the work as a thing!
The works of hiGGs3 are not objects, but events of high sensitivity. They do not possess a single form, because form is the result of encounter. They do not possess a single time, because time is part of the material. They do not possess a single author, because every particle co-creates the sculpture through participation in the field.
Boson art emerges where matter hesitates about whether to be matter yet.
Our sculptures are ephemeral, but not impermanent. They endure as disturbance, as measurement, as memory of the system. They do not need to be preserved to be real. They do not need to be seen to exist. They do not need to be touched to change the relationship between body and universe.
We believe the most important sculpture of the future is more a question than a mass.
Our Principles:
- Matter is a temporary decision of energy.
- Form is the consequence of interaction, not the property of an object.
- The observer does not view the work; they co-establish it.
- Ephemerality is not a lack of permanence, but the highest precision of existence.
- Sculpture can be probability.
- The void is a studio.
- Every measurement is an aesthetic gesture.
- Every decay is a composition.
- Every disappearance is a form of signature.
We are hiGGs3 . We create boundary moments. We create art that is the highest form of collection because its true place is the tension between what is countable and what is experienced.
Boson art is not a style. It is a change of state.
